Pérez Art Museum Miami

I have found that when I travel, within the States or out of the country, when I mention that I live in Miami, people immediately make a connection to the beaches and the clubbing scene. Although this is true, there is much more to Miami than the partying perception. For instance, the Design District and Wynwood art galleries have emerged to prove innovation of art, fashion, architecture, design, and dining.

Pérez Art Museum Miami opened its doors to the public on December 2013 as a modern and contemporary art museum dedicated to collecting and exhibiting international art of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Here are some photographs I took as my friend and I explored the museum.

  1. Beautiful pics and great post. And it’s true, that when individuals hear you’re from a certain place they immediately identify it with something that’s common, meanwhile, there is much much more to that destination than ever imagined.
